Smokey High and Sabbath
defeat Southfield Union
The Hard Steel card
kicked off with fabulous tag team match… two teams at the pinnacle of the
Tag Team ranks…the favorites were obviously the Southfield Union…a team
many said have been overlooked by the championship committee to regain the
gold they once held…the match itself was two teams not looking for the easy
way out, just pure wrestling…merely hell bent on putting a show on…the
Union quickly took control…showing their expertise by cutting the ring in
half and not allowing Sabbath to make the tag…Sabbath particularly looked in
trouble as the Union mixed the submission moves and holds of Coady with the
raw power moves of Hall…as Hall delivered a mighty power bomb…only a slow
count by the referee denied the Union victory…as Hall argued the speed of
the count…Sabbath recovered and was able to reverse a Hall Irish Whip and
hit him with a boot to the face…the boot took its toll on Hall…he was able
to make a tag to Coady…but not before Sabbath tagged in Smokey…as Smokey
nailed both members of the Union with lefts, rights and power slams…it
looked like the tide had finally turned…however…Coady was able to get
Smokey in a fishermens suplex…with the referee still out of position…a
close three count would have certainly been three if he was closer to the
action…as Coady again argued the call…Sabbath clotheslined Hall out of the
ring…the crowd went wild…he then nailed Coady and Smokey rolled him up in
a school boy pin for the three count…both teams shook hands afterwards, but
both Hall and Coady had strong words for the referee.
Light-Heavyweight title match
Crud
defeats Tricky Flick by count out
The first title defense
of the evening saw Crud…the Cinderella story of the T.F.W.F…defending
his title against the T.F.W.F prankster Tricky Flick…but Flick was all business
tonight…immediately he took it to Crud landing a quick succession of drop
kicks with arm bars and sleepers…could we see a changing of the guard? Not
in this case…again seemingly drawing his power from an unknown source…Crud
clawed his way back from near defeat to deliver a set of devastating suplexes,
DDTs, and power slams…with Flick struggling…Crud signaled for the Power
of Naldo…low and behold…the run in King Jimmy Simpson…flanked by Glen
Stag walked from behind the curtain…turning around quickly Crud…ran out of
the ring to confront them…as he did Tricky Flick arose…it appeared that he
would give Crud a cheap shot and claim the win…but Flick to a roaring crowd
stuck out the hand of friendship…and signaled he’d help Crud dispose of
the Pack duo…as both of them ran at Simpson and Stag…American Redneck and
DJ Scratch jumped out of the crowd…and clobbered Crud and Flick…with both
men receiving double team beatings…the referee was unable to make a
decision…as he called for security to pull back the Pack members he put the
count on both Crud and Flick whom were knocked out…as he got to 7…both
members arose and attempted to get back to ring…just before the apron and on
the count of 9…Flick collapsed…Crud rolled himself in the ring and
won…by count out…although he won the match the scars left by the Pack
imply he might be the real loser.
European title match
Raging
Fury defeats Enigma
A highly anticipated
match…Enigma…the quickest man in the T.F.W.F would take on a man who’s
injuries throughout his boxing career, Raging Fury…was forced into a new
line of work…many hoped the leader of the Vigilantes…would finally see his
dream…however Enigma is a very popular wrestler amongst the T.F.W.F fans…the
crowd seemed divided in this big title match…Enigma’s speed controlled the
match early on…keeping to Fury’s weak left hand side…he bobbed and
weaved his way…each time scoring with kicks and punches…he completely took
control with a spinning wheel kick off the ropes knocked down the former
boxer…with Fury down…Enigma wore him down further with a camel
clutch…Fury a man who never quits fought the hold and whipped Enigma in to
the ropes…ducking too early…Enigma…defied gravity scoring with a
fabulous sunset flip…with the crowd ecstatic…Fury kicked out …Enigma
then mounted the top turnbuckle he looked to hit a dizzy Fury with a moonsault…but
Fury moved…as Enigma jumped to his feet…Fury nailed him with right after
right each time knocking Enigma down…the final right knocked Enigma out of
the ring…the crowd were ecstatic still…Enigma then regained control by
leaping on the apron then hitting Fury with a dropkick…the crowd were
screaming with delight as arguably this was the best action the T.F.W.F fans had
seen on the night…Enigma then rolled Fury into the ring…he threw him into
the ropes….Fury then ducked the clothesline…and countered with his
own…he then picked up Enigma looked at the crowd and hit him with the
Southpaw Slam…and the T.F.W.F had a new European Champion…one of the
highlights of Hard Steel has to be the tears of joy that went down Fury’s
face as he held the European title high.
4 Way no.1 Contender match

Tiger
Young defeats Beast, Da Gremlin and Extreme Measures
4 men who were
desperate to promote their status in the T.F.W.F. met in the squared circle at
Hard Steel…the favourite with the experience factor was Da Gremlin, but the
other three contained a hunger which was unparallel
to Da Gremlin…as the match started, the two Vigilante big men
attacked Da Gremlin and Tiger Young…Young however was able use his quickness
to get the better of Beast…Extreme and Da Gremlin were a bit more equal
trading power moves for technical expertise respectively…the first major pin
attempt was by Beast…he hit Da Gremlin with the culture shock…but Extreme
made the save…Beast a wild man at heart had been tamed by the Vigilantes up
to this point…but he turned on Extreme Measures to a stunned crowd body
pressing the big man for almost 15 seconds…as the crowd roared in
delight…a cheap shot by Tiger ended the route that Beast was pouring
on…naturally the action spilled to the outside…as Da Gremlin tried to
rally some offence to Beast…Tiger took it to Extreme…the match as a whole
see-sawed back and forth nobody had gained control apart from Beast…but the
big man paid the price as he threw Da Gremlin into the ropes…Gremlin ducked
and countered with a drop kick knocking Beast out of the ring…again the
crowd got the their feet…Da Gremlin signaled for the Rebellion…as the
crowd roared…he grabbed Tiger Young…but Extreme broke it up and threw Da
Gremlin over the top rope…Da Gremlin fell onto an announcers table smashing
it…the crowd in the arena were roaring with excitement it was even hard to
hear the TV announcers…as Da Gremlin recovered Beast went at him on the
outside as falls counted anywhere…Extreme now looked favourite in the
ring…and with every blow he landed on the hated Tiger Young the crowd
screamed with delight…as he signaled for the Extreme Close-up…Tiger again
landed a cheap shot…he was able to attach the Saber Tooth and get the three
count…as he celebrated in the ring to the music of the Pack…the music cut
and the Management walked through the curtains to the chorus of boos…he
grabbed the microphone and announced that with Tiger Young winning the
match…A-firmative action would be taken…Young looked puzzled…but all
became clear when the Management raised Tiger’s hand and made a signal of a
championship belt around Tigers waist…but as the new Firm celebrated…Naldo
made his way towards the ring…he promised Tiger Young would pay the price
for aligning himself with the Firm as he spoke Nemesis and Demon attacked him
from behind.

Nemesis/Demon defeats
Family
A match billed as the
pure hate personified in one ring was not too far from the truth…the Dark
Souls as Nemesis and Demon tend to call themselves these days wanted to hold
onto their titles and in this match nothing was more precious…for the Family
the hatred of the Firm had been building for months discarding old feuds with
the Union and Compton Crew for the chance to pursue their goals of winning the
tag team titles…Luciano would be the difference in this one, but for the
wrong reason…a big man yes, but his game is usually based on power and
roughing people up…men like Nemesis and Demon are hard to do this to…realizing
this weakness the champs cut off Tony form Muscles…beating him down with
moves such as suplexs and powerslams and whenever an opportunity presented
itself…we saw a few illegal double team moves… no chance for Muscles to
get in the match the big man took the title chance on his own shoulders having
action spill to the outside…as Demon and him battled Tony tried to mount an
offence…with the crowd cheering him on he used moves such as shoulder blocks
and drop kicks to rock the big man…however he was failing in his
efforts…as Nemesis looked like the man who couldn’t go down Tony bounced
off the rope with a full head of steam and sent Nemesis crashing down with the
most devastating clothesline…with the crowd pumped Tony gathered himself and
attempted a powerslam only to be crushed under Nemesis’s weight…as the
Allies raced down to ringside to help out against Demon…Muscles was too
late…Nemesis grabbed a beaten and battered Tony L. and finished him
convincingly for the three cont and the titles…as the Allies hit the ring
they battled with the champs only to see 20th Century Knights hit
the ring and their match bell sound there.
20
th Century Knights defeats
Allies
In this no count out
and no DQ match…the Knights took the advantage as the Family went backstage
the tag champs stayed around a bit and beat the living crap of Dean Hardy the
Lion…with Lion in constant trouble on the outside Mace and Lance
concentrated their efforts on taking care of Mr. All-America…by the time
security moved the champions backstage the Allies were already pretty badly
broken in …as Lance and Mace scored with the high flying antics they were
accustomed to, the crowd booed them as they celebrated…the crowd had
obviously expected to see the dare devils which are the Allies in full
force…but the beating had taken its toll…as Mace hit a stunning
neckbreaker on Mr.-All America…the crowd watched their favourite tag team go
down for the three count.
Intercontinental title Match
Chris
Chaos def Flamo, Earl of Cleveland
A match many expected
to be great despite the inclusion of Earl would pit the two men considered to
be the greatest IC champions ever against each other…Chaos a man undefeated
till his match with Flamo and Flamo a man who was in his 3rd title
reign…as the three men locked up it was obvious Earl didn’t figure much in
the match at one point he simply walked to the outside and sat with the
commentary team of Scoop and Snoop claiming he was waiting on a surprise…as
Flamo and Chaos countered each other move for move the crowd grew in
anticipation of an ending…of extreme brilliance. However Earl stood up and
picked up a hockey stick which he bashed both men with…although the crowd
booed it was obvious to all how much Earl wanted the title…as the action
spilled outside Chaos landed a crushing powerbomb on Flamo…and went after
Earl…the music of Ultimate Scally then filled the ring with the Hardcore
title in tow…he ran at the ring…accompanied by the English Invader who
distracted the referee…the crowd was livid and as Earl verbally confronted
Scally…Scally swung his belt! Earl ducked and Chaos felt the full force on
the jaw…out for the count…Earl seemingly unimpressed delivered the Royal
Plex and almost got the three…but Flamo whom had fought against this type of
struggle against the Firm before saved Chaos and landed the Irish Wonder on
Earl…the crowd thought the defense was in the bag, but Scally then saved
Earl! A confused crowd watched as Scally hauled Flamo outside and beat
him…the match was out of control…Earl went for a second Royal Plex, but
Chaos blocked countering with a small package and the win! As he celebrated
Flamo recovered from the beating…stood by the new champion and raised his
hands high…Earl…went over and offered his hand to both then nailed them
with a double clothesline and spat on them…he left ringside to a chorus of
boos.
Hardcore Battle-thon, Fallen
Angel walks out champion
11 men tonight were
battling to be the last man standing and take home the pinnacle of tough
street fighting honors the T.F.W.F. Hardcore championship…too have a
detailed report would have this reporter writing for hours…but for the fans
who were there it was the greatest battle they had ever seen…the controversy
leading up to this match was whom would walk in champion…but now it was who
would walk out champion…the favourite as usual was the Ultimate Scally…the
Hero of HARDCORE wrestling…as the 11 men brawled with bats, chairs, tables
anything they could get their hands on one would go first…The Car Thief had
proved a brilliant Hardcore champion in the past…but he had recently been
off his game…and it showed within 3 minutes of the match…his attempt to
hit Radcliffe with a chair went horribly wrong…as he swung Radcliffe…used
his surprisingly agile ability to hit the floor and deliver a leg sweep…down
on the floor he was easy pickings for Luddite who delivered the Ludd-Bar as
Car Thief writhed in agony…Radcliffe gestured to Luddite you couldn’t win
via submission so he picked up Thief delivered the Eradicator…and we were
down to 10…next to go was Jimmy Simpson…attempting to avoid Luddite all
night he tried a sneaky attack only to be hit by the Orbitor via Saturn…the
Hoodlum members exchanged high fives and Luddite got the pin…the third to go
was Aleblad…action between him and Scally went into the crowd…were English
Invader posing as a fan hit Aleblad with a steel rod…anything goes in
Hardcore including the Svenny…as Saturn wandered around it was obvious the
man was better suited to the European and IC belt ranks…technically sound
wasn’t good enough a chokeslam by Win-Hong delivered on a chair saw this
optimistic challenger…challenge haltered…Scally now took control and the
announcers table for our Spanish fans was replaced as Radcliffe a former champ
was out for the count being smashed through it…many were surprised by Dark
Light getting a chance to shine…he had done to this point until Fallen Angel
delivered the Angel Death Drop off the top rope! And scored the pin…the
elite was now left…but a young man named Luddite had triumphed in recent
weeks, but was taken to school by Mr. Hardcore the Ultimate Scally…a
disgusting Scally spit to the face and a one-two-three later and Luddite was
gone…Invader whom had been posing as a fan for a while now finally made his
way out…his tactics had proved successful so far, but as he stepped over the
barricade he was clotheslined back by Angel and rolled up…the crowd ecstatic
at the way Angel had approached the match…We were now down to three…Scally
and Win-Hong now double teamed Angel, but neither could be trusted and quickly
turned on each other…as Scally hit Hong out of the ring with a bat he
celebrated, but the crowd saw what was coming and roared to their feet…as
Angel rose Scally was too late to react and one Angel Death Drop later and we
were down to two…but Win-Hong got the better of the celebrating Angel
sliding a explosive device in the ring it exploded on Angel leaving him lying
in the broken glass from earlier…Win-Hong was the new champion, but for how
long…as he celebrated the DoJo was seen on the T.F.W.F TRON celebrating…as
Win-Hong cracked a smile…Chopper raced out from the back! He landed a
Directors Cut and the crowd screamed for the man whom the Management had
denied the shot to…from pillar to post Chopper celebrated…but too soon the
Angel was not finished and to prove that he used the Angel Death Drop to win
the gold…smartly as well he signaled backstage as the stage crew wheeled
his bike out he swung the title around his head and rode off!
Night Hawk/ Mayhem def Damned
Yankee/ Scott Phoenix
A late organized match…it pitted two guys who are great friends against two men who
absolutely hate each other…It wasn’t hard to see what would happen. For
wrestling quality Yankee and Phoenix are probably the better team, but there
is no I in team and neither man grasped this. With every hard tag or scornful
look the tension built and built! Night Hawk took the wrestling to them first
showing a skilful array of high flying moves which surprised Phoenix and
Yankee…with ever drop kick, moonsault and high risk maneuver he got the
crowd to their feet. However, when Mayhem entered he was unable to use his
power to phase the resilient Damned Yankee…as Yankee laid suplex after slam
after punch he wore Mayhem down…his not so friendly tag saw Phoenix enter
the ring he whom many are already comparing to Chris Chaos showed exactly what
he could do having Mayhem writhing in agony with a modified arm bar…again
Mayhem was wore done and an unfriendly tag was exchanged…as Yankee hit a leg
drop and an avalanche he again went for a quick tag…but Phoenix refuse to
extend his hand! Yankee pushed him, Phoenix slapped Yankee and then it all
kicked off as Yankee nailed Phoenix with a hard right hand he turned around
only to find a fresh Night Hawk looking at him…as Night Hawk bounced of the
rope he hit a high cross body and almost scored the pin…but Phoenix broke it
up he then knocked all three men out of the ring…as he stood victorious Dean
Hammer’s music hit the speaker! With a trash can in his left hand and a bat
in his right he walked to the ring…Phoenix met him half way and they
exchanged shots…Yankee slowly got back in the ring he was hurt as was Night
Hawk…as he went for a suplex, Night Hawk countered mounted the top turn
buckle and hit the Bird of Prey for the win…security then pulled Hammer and
Phoenix apart as the continued to brawl. As Night Hawk and Mayhem stood in the
ring they stared down Hammer and Yankee this could be the start of a beautiful
feud, it wasn't over yet though, sneaking up behind Night Hawk and hitting him
with a chair was Tracey a statement had been made.

Elimination
Heavy Metal/Mary Jane defeats
Franny J/E. McSlut, Sniff/Charlie and Management/ C. Russell
No clear favourite
from the start was visible in this match, but the underdogs were obviously
Heavy Metal and Mary Jane…a team not from the same stable and both
relatively new to the federation…starting it off were the four men…Heavy
Metal made it clear he wanted Russell, but as she taunted him, the Management
hit him from behind…Sniff and Franny J went immediately at it exchanging
move for move and counter for counter, they were highly entertaining. Franny J
at one point scoring with a brilliant drop kick…only to be then out done by
a Sniff hurricana. Simultaneously all four men tagged in the women, but as
they did, Heavy Metal and Franny J got back in. After and Irish whip and DDT
Franny J almost scored the pin and the win, but Sniff broke it up…he then
tried the One-Timer, but this time it was Svante Aleblad who burst down to
ringside…and hit Easy McSlut and Franny J with a chair…the referee
subsequently DQ’d the Love Shack team. The Management then tried to score
the pin on Franny J…but through resilience he kicked out. However the pure
wrestling skills of the Management took over he pounded down with brilliant
technical skill on Heavy Metal and Franny J to the deafening boos of the
crowd…he then hit Heavy Metal with the Firm Finish…but as he went for the
pin, Fallen Angel’s music hit the speakers and the brand new Hardcore
champion lowered himself from the rafters…he didn’t do anything to the
Management, but he grabbed Colleen Russell and laid a kiss on her! The
Management went furious and chased the Hardcore champion backstage! Now it was
Mary Jane she pulled Russell into the ring and pounded her showing how
important the Women’s title was to her…Franny J got to his feet , but Easy
McSlut was still down…Aleblad then came bursting out of the backstage area
again… hitting Easy and Franny J again…this time Franny countered the move
hitting the One-Timer to an ecstatic crowd! He then grabbed Aleblad and
battled with the star outside…only to be counted out. We were down to
Colleen, Mary Jane and Heavy Metal…as Colleen got the upper hand of Mary it
was a blind tag that allowed Heavy Metal in as Russell tried to escape he
suplexed her back in and delivered the Amplifier…after the match him and
Mary Jane embraced as they had defied the odds!
T.F.W.F.
Heavyweight title Match
Samson defeats Naldo and Pimp
In
Without
a doubt the greatest match I have witnessed with an ending equivalent to the
break up of Pimp In and Naldo’s tag team…the T.F.W.F. will never be the
same. The winner of this match knew they would battle Tiger Young at one stage
and as the 20,000 plus Chicago Stadium arose to their feet there was no better
place to be on earth. The introductions were electric…you had the most
exciting wrestler in T.F.W.F. history…Naldo…you had the
phenomenon…Samson and the Hometown boy…Pimp In…for possibly the final
time…in one ring! It started out with the three men feeling each other
out…Pimp In and Naldo were power wrestlers usually, but were forced to
adjust for Samson’s size…not before pulling off a move that had the crowd
jump to their feet As Pimp In seemed to pull of the impossible…after an
Irish whip on Samson…he gorilla pressed the big man for one rep before Naldo
delivered a devastating ¾ neckbreaker! With the crowd ecstatic and Samson
hurt…the attention shifted to Pimp In and Naldo as they went at it…a
powerslam by Pimp In…Naldo got straight up…a suplex by Naldo…Pimp In
jumps to his feet…the high charge of electricity all over the place
apparent. Remember these three men had the opportunity to become the first
ever three time Heavyweight champion…Samson got up he scored with a
brilliant double clothesline…again the crowd screamed…Samson’s power
took control…as he laid out respective powerslams the other two were slow to
get up…then he worked on Naldo…Pimp In was obviously favouring his back so
Samson wore down Naldo…the perspiration on every mans face apparent as
Naldo’s face paint ran…as Samson delivered a back-breaker and powerbomb…he
went for an early pin…not to be the case…a Pimp In save…he then took it
to Pimp In a powerful whip into the turnbuckle and hit an avalanche…as he
went again Naldo got up and clotheslined Samson to the outside! The crowd
didn’t sit down from there…Naldo put Pimp In on the top turn buckle
delivering a superplex as he did Pimp In jumped up! He followed with a
clothesline and sharpshooter…the action continued swaying back and forth no
man taking complete control…it was astounding…but it relied on a mistake
to shift the course of action…a frog splash by Pimp In was missed timed on
Naldo…and Pimp In was hurt as he struggled for the rest of the contest to
get back on his feet…it was now a Samson and Naldo affair…Naldo running on
the power of the crowd and warriors hit three massive clotheslines on Samson
before the Tower toppled down…as he signaled for the Power of Naldo…Pimp
In got to his feet and hit a money shot from behind! He still in pain got one
hand on Naldo, but Naldo got a shoulder up…Pimp In was completely done for
now…he scrabbled to his feet holding his later confirmed broken ribs...he
went for another frog splash…but as he did Samson arose picked him off and
delivered a Samson Bomb from the turnbuckle! Naldo arose as Pimp In was
gone…he hit the Power of Naldo on Samson and went for the pin…not even a
one count…Samson got up delivered an Irish whip and hit a Samson bomb that
would have brought the walls of Jerusalem crashing down around him as he would
say! Three counts later…and Samson was the new T.F.W.F. champion! As he
celebrated in the ring…the Firm’s music hit with Tiger Young at his right
and the Assistant on his left the Management…suit and all walked out he took
the microphone asking Samson or giving the opportunity for Samson to be the
Firm’s champion…Samson emphatically said no, he was doing this for the
Revolution of the T.F.W.F. much like Earl…as the words Earl
echoed…Earl’s music hit to a chorus of boos especially after what he did
to Chaos and Flamo…he emerged and stood next to the Management and shook his
hand!!!!! The crowd were upset…Earl took the microphone saying how he had
started off trying to win for the people and change the T.F.W.F. and now they
showed no appreciation…he set his sights on the IC gold…and the only way
to get that was through the Firm…he then claimed he wasn’t alone…the
Courts music hit…and one by one…Black Thunder, Pez, Da Gremlin, Car Thief
and the Compton Crew stood side by side glaring a t Samson each taking the
microphone to encourage him to join…finally the Management got back the
microphone…his final words…stand alone or join us…the Pack now came
out…men standing there all looking for Samson’s answer…the Management
repeated again…you will stand alone…almost one cue Naldo and Pimp In
arose…and shook their heads and patted the new Heavyweight champion on his
back…the Management irate signaled for his new force to attack the
ring…but they all stopped the speakers pounded out the music of Fallen Angel
speeding down the ramp swinging his Hardcore title above his head he ran down
half of the men before skidding and stopping by the ring! Then members of the
Mob, Love Shack, Hoodlums, Hellbound Warriors and Vigilantes ran at the Firm’s Alliance a
massive brawl continued the last thing before Hard Steel finished was Samson,
Pimp In, Naldo and Fallen Angel charging the alliance.
