21st - 27th May Out of character interview Ian: Hello, everyone this week I am doing an out of character interview with the retiring legend of the T.F.W.F., Naldo. Naldo welcome to the fictional chair. Naldo: Thanks Ian, I wish this fictional chair was more comfortable. Ian: When I helped found this site in 1998, you were one of the pioneers that kept this e-fed running in its early days, describe to some of our newer wrestlers, what we had then, what changes we have seen and why you stayed with us. Naldo: Well when I first came here, or was coaxed here I should say there weren't pictures, fancy designs, just a lot of text and a old rp board. I pretty much felt this would fold like most other e-feds at first, but what struck me was Ian's dedication, he really wanted to get this to work so I figured hey I might stick with this. He was looking for card writers etc. and a lot of input so I did my bit. Now we have lots of fancy designs, character bios with pictures and even merchandise, I stayed cause basically I started to see where Ian was going and consider him a great friend I met over the internet. Ian: What was the greatest feud you had here in the T.F.W.F.? Naldo: Only one man, probably the greatest rper I have ever seen, Pimp In. One man that you couldn't tell the difference between him and his character because he never gave too much away unless you know him in real life like me. Possibly the most in genius piece of e-fed writing was the split of our tag team, nobody on the roster could believe, I guess everyone expected a Chopper or Franny J heel turn for that title match not everyone staying face and the split of the now called Legends. I have to say it was a great feud and I really enjoyed it, I would say the original Management, Samson and Nemesis are my other great feuds. As a side not get well soon Johnny Mouth. Ian: Why retire now? Naldo: I probably should have retired a few months ago. But its real hard to do so, guys like Chopper, Yankee and Samson know its a bug the T.F.W.F., the closest any of us will get who love the sports entertainment of wrestling to getting close to it. I also feel the T.F.W.F. has some of the greatest rpers at the moment, now would be a good time to retire in this respect from the e-fed rping, because I am a little sick of it and cause I want to do other things. I would never dream of starting my own e-fed or going anywhere else this place rocks and I hope everyone here appreciates what Ian and the rest do for them. I have told I am getting a massive send off at the Pay Per View as part of the script, thanks guys a nice touch. Ian: What would you like to see happen in the future of the T.F.W.F.? Naldo: I think its capable of expanding further maybe becoming a real business, I don't see why not it just needs a chance needs someone to back it an investment. I know it appeals to guys and gals ages 13-25, but hey if anyone out there can give me a reason why they shouldn't back it financially and make it professional please tell me, if dungeons and dragons and all that sort of stuff can go into a marketing why not e-fed wrestling and especially the T.F.W.F.. I mean what e-fed can say it has a fan base? From a script point of view...hmmm...I have really enjoyed reading the Angel vs. Hawk feud, I hope this will rival anything the T.F.W.F. has done before, with either Killboy or Tremere winning the Heavyweight title the T.F.W.F. is obviously going in a new direction which is cool, I feel like an 80s wrestler now! Lol! Anyway you got guys like Torch, Peacemaker, Invader, Chaos to name a few who are doing a great job, what am I to say I don't know were it will go just let you all know I will be reading it. Ian: Any final words Naldo? Naldo: I would like to wish all my friends who I have made here a great success in life in general. To those of you I don't really know or who are new again the same and enjoy it here, never take it too seriously thats a problem I guess, I often see people fighting off the rp board, heck I have got involved myself sometimes, but you are all here to enjoy yourselves it shouldn't be anything personal. Ian told me about what should be in Thursdays results between me and Hawk, Hawk I requested it be you cause basically the metaphoric torch has been passed, I was the guy that they built this fed on, I guess in the beginning, now you are, best of luck pal.
