PEZ: What did you do for New Year?

SC: Quiet night in with the wife, how bout you?

PEZ: Quiet night in with a picture of your wife!

SC: (sigh) Let’s go to ringside for our opening contest…

'The Thorn' Angela Rose vs Missy

JH: Currently in the ring introducing in here debut from New Jersey…weighing 145 pounds…The Thorn…Andrea Rose…

(NO REAL REACTION.)

*'BRACKISH' - KITTIE PLAYS*

(MISSY EMERGES, JUMPING AROUND LIKE A HYPERACTIVE CHILD)

(DECENT POP.)

JH: And her opponent weighing 114 pounds…the Misfit…Missy!!!

SC: Be interesting to see what The Thorn came up with against this highly exciteable Missy.

PEZ: Something has just come up…in my pants.

SC: Will you just watch the match!!!

Thorn circles the ring and lunges at Missy who moves out the way with a nice side step.  She drops an elbow onto Thorn’s back and then drags her up by the hair and whips her into the corner and follows in with a splash in the corner.  Thorn staggers out of the corner and Missy hits a nice bulldog.  She goes out the ring and climbs to the top rope.  Thorn staggers to her feet as Missy jumps and hits a nice cross body block!  She makes the cover 1…2….3!!!!  A win in record time for a woman’s match in the TFWF!  Missy jump to her feet and does a cartwheel in the middle of the ring as the fans at ringside cheer her.  Thorn rolls out the ring to the outside holding the back of her head and looking upset.

SC:  Well, that is what happens in the T.F.W.F, you don’t put in the effort, someone will kick your ass!

PEZ:  Speaking of kicking ass, look who just came out of the crowd.

SC:  What the hell is he doing here?

Michael ‘Fame’ Pounds climbs over the barricade and jumps in the ring a mic in his hand.  Missy is still leaping around celebrating and doesn’t see him as Pounds gets in the ring.  He stands behind Missy as the crowd boo him.  He grabs her by the hair and hauls her down to the mat to massive heat from the crowd.  Pounds grabs Missy by the hair and lifts her up before shoving her back into the corner.  The crowd are hot as Pounds gets on the mic.

MP:  Come on Twist, I’ve got your pretty little girl here and unless you come out here and face me I’m going to make an example of her.  I’ll use her to show you the kind of damage I can do.

Missy tries to slap Pounds but he catches her hand and turns her wrist at an awkward angle.  Missy cries out in pain and Pounds pulls her out the corner and then shoves her back down to the mat.  He goes back on the mic as Missy cowers on the mat.

MP:  Twist, you got till the count of five to get your little punk ass out here or I’m going to mess up this pretty little face on live TV.  Come on Twist, don’t let your lady down again like you do every night in bed!  1….2….3….4….5.  Well Missy, looks like your big brave boyfriend isn’t going to save you this time.  Come here, I’ve got a new piledriver I’ve been wanting to try out!

Missy tries to get away but Pounds stomps once on her back to massive heat from the crowd.  He drags Missy up and looks to be setting her up for a piledriver.  Suddenly the boos turn to an almighty pop as Tiger Young sprints down the ramp!!!  He slides into the ring just as Pounds turns around, he swings a punch at Young who ducks and then boots Pounds in the mid section.  He doubles over as Tiger signals for the Sabre Tooth to a huge pop.  Missy rolls out the ring as Tiger hooks Pounds up and plants him with the Sabre Tooth to a massive pop!!!

SC:  Wow, looks like the 4 Corners look out for each other, Twist couldn’t make it to the ring, but out comes Tiger Young to make the save for his friend!

PEZ:  Aw, I wanted to see the new Pounds piledriver, this sucks!

SC:  If you play your cards right I’ll maybe ask Pounds to try the move out on you, then you can tell us how it felt.

PEZ:  Really?  Cool, thanks man, you really are a good friend.

SC:  Yeah, right!

Winner, via pinfall: Missy

TY: Hit the music…

*’WALK THIS WAY’ – AEROSMITH PLAYS*

(CROWD EXPLODE IN POPS AS GILES CHADWORTH, PIMP IN, THE INJURED GRUNT AND TWIST WALK ONTO THE STAGE.)

GC: God even all this is the moment you have all been waiting for, what will The Four Corners do, will they accept Ian Monks’ offer, but what is Ian Monks’ offer, one number one contendership? One…not really much of an offer Monks, but you are right, we do need to stop the DWIWF and you know The Four Corners want to do that, but do they want to be in Monks’ pocket…HELL NO!!!

(BIG POP.)

GC: We are out for one another and each other only…we are out to make The Four Corners more feared than the DWIWF…so Ian Monks, we will just keep you guessing!

(MUSIC HITS CORNERS CELEBRATE AND THE CROWD POP.)

(ACTION GOES BACKSTAGE TO MONKS AND ANGEL.)

IM: So what do we do now…

FA: You rely on me, what about Chad?

IM: I am not going to dignify that with a response.

(ACTION RETURNS TO THE RING.)

Scott Evans vs Cage McDonald

JH: This match is scheduled for one fall and is a debut match! In the red corner weighing 265 pounds…Cage McDonald…and in the blue corner weighing 250 pounds…Scott Evans!!!

SC: Two rookies here looking to make an impact.

PEZ: I…

SC: Shut up!

The two rookies stand in opposite corners, and raise their arms to the audience as their names are announced, to a mild response. As the bell rings, the big occasion gets to them both, and they charge each other, whaling big right hands at each other. After thirty seconds of this, McDonald grabs Evans by the arm, and whips him to the ropes. However, Evans comes off with a flying forearm, which connects with McDonald's head, and knocks him to the mat. Evans goes for the quick cover...1..2... McDonald kicks out! Both men get up, McDonald staggers towards Evans, who nails him with an uppercut chop to the underside of the jaw. McDonald falls back against the ropes, Evans leans in to him and goes to whip him to the other side, but McDonald reverses it, whips Evans to the ropes, then puts him down with a big shoulderblock on his return. McDonald bounces off the ropes for momentum, and goes for an elbow drop to follow up, but Evans rolls out of the way, and McDonald is left with nothing but mat to connect with. Both men rise to their feet again, and Evans slows the pace down with a hiptoss into a headlock.

SC: Both men eager to please in their first TFWF match up...

PEZ: So... which one's Fallen Angel?

SC: That's the next match, Pez...

PEZ: I see..... and who are you?

SC: !!!

McDonald tries to reach behind to grab Evans, but Evans is playing it cagey. McDonald manages to push up with his feet, to bring them both up to a standing position. He then backs himself into the corner, with Cage still hanging on to the headlock/sleeper hold behind him. Mcdonald traps Evans in the corner behind him, and rams an elbow into his stomach. However, Evans holds on, and climbs onto the turnbuckle, holding McDonald's head with one hand, and forearm smashing him across the back of the head with the other. Finally, McDonald reaches behind, grabs Evans by the head, and beils him over his shoulder, from the post to the mat. Evans lands on his back, but rises quickly again to his feet, only for McDonald to level him with a running clothesline. McDonald makes the cover....1...2.... Evans kicks out!

SC: The crowd are beginning to warm to these two competitors...

PEZ: Warm... like the happy place I go to when bad things happen in my head...

SC: Pez.... do you really think you're cut out to be a professional wrestling commentator?

PEZ: What's that?

SC: Never mind...

McDonald pulls Evans to his feet, and goes to position him for a suplex, but Evans quickly traps him in a small package...1....2.... McDonald shifts his weight, and rolls Evans' shoulders to the mat...1...2...Evans rolls McDonald's shoulders back to the mat, and hooks his feet over the bottom rope for extra leverage...1...2.. The ref notices Evans using the ropes, and stops the count! Both men get to their feet, Evans swings a punch McDonald ducks, Evans swings around with the momentum, McDonald comes up behind him and runs him towards the ropes. They hit the ropes, McDonald hooks Evans from behind, and rolls him up....1....2...3! Evans kicks out a fraction too late!

Winner, via pinfall: Cage McDonald

(T.F.W.F. GOES TO COMMERCIALS.)

(ACTION RETURNS TO THE RING.)

Fallen Angel vs Chris Chaos

*’HOLD ME, THRILL ME, KISS ME, KILL ME’ -  U2 PLAYS*

(THE CROWD EXPLODE IN BOOS AS DWIWF LOGO ENGULFS THE TOTALLY ACTION TRON. CHRIS CHAOS EMERGES AND THRUSTS HIS ARMS IN THE AIR BOWING HIS HEAD BEFORE WALKING DOWN TO THE RING TO HUGE HEAT.)

JH: This match is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring from Denver, Colorado…weighing 250 pounds…Chris Chaos!!!

SC: Tough loss in the PPV for Chaos, but he is looking to bounce back here tonight.

PEZ: Like a bouncy castle…

SC: Ummm…yes!

*’FALL FROM GRACE’ – NO SECRETS FROM THE T.F.W.F. ALBUM PLAYS *

(A BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT COMES FROM THE ENTRANCE WAY AND BLINDS MOST OF THE CROWD.  FALLEN ANGEL EMERGES FROM THE LIGHT, HE HOLDS HIS HANDS HIGH IN THE AIR SALUTING THE CROWD)

JH: And his opponent from parts unknown…weighing 268 pounds…The Fallen One…Fallen Angel!!!

SC: Angel just lost out on the greatest prize in 2002, now all alone with the burden of Hellbound and the T.F.W.F. on his shoulders.

PEZ: Big shoulders…kind of like your wife!

SC: Pez!

Angel enters the ring, and Chaos sneers disapprovingly at him. The bell rings, and the two wily veterans play catch-as-catch-can, trying to tag each other. Eventually, Angel swings at Chaos, but overreaches, and Chaos spins him around, and gets him in a back waistlock. Chaos then places a foot in the back of Angel's knee, forcing him to the ground. He then kicks Angel in the back, knocking him face down onto the mat. Chaos then drops down over Angel, and spins around on top of him, slappping him around the back of the head. Chaos rolls off, gets to his feet, and congratulates himself, much to the crowd's vocal disgust.

SC: Chris Chaos not endearing himself to anyone here, Pez....

PEZ: ...Except me! Come on! Whoooo!!!..... What's his name again?

SC: Chris Chaos.

PEZ: That's it! Come on, Crispy Clothes!

Angel slowly gets to his feet, not moving his stare from Chaos. Chaos beckons him on cockily. Angel gets closer, they go for a collar and elbow tie up, but Chaos ducks out of it at the last second, turns around, and grabs Angel in a side headlock. He then rolls around into a hammerlock behind Angel's back. Angel attempts to reach behind to grab him, but Chaos cannily keeps out of his grasp. However, Chaos backs off so much, that Angel is able to reverse the move, and put Chaos in a hammerlock. Chaos attempts to maneouvre out, and HE reverses the move, so he has the hammerlock on Angel. Chaos again taunts the crowd, as he has Angel in the hammerlock, but this causes his attention to wander, and Angel swings a heavy duty elbow into Chaos' face. The crowd go 'ooh' appreciatively. Chaos reels backwards holding his chin. Angel takes a big run up, and clotheslines Chaos over the top rope. Unfortunately, the momentum takes him over as well, and they both crash to the arena floor.

SC: I guess Fallen Angel got fed up of Chris Chaos' technical trickery. Looks like the kid gloves have come off!

PEZ: (singing) Kid gloves! Kid glovesssss.....

SC: Thanks for your input, Pez...

PEZ: Any time!

The two men get shakily to their feet, with Angel slightly quicker to get up. He goes to charge Chaos, but Chaos drop toe holds him straight onto the steel ring steps, with a dull thud. Chaos attempts to clear the cobwebs from his head, then wanders over to Angel, and stomps on his back. He then pulls Angel to his feet, and goes to whip him to the guard rail, but Angel reverses it, and Chaos slams back first into the steel rails. Angel is bleeding from the head following his interface with the ring steps. He strides over to Chaos with intent to attack his head, but Chaos punches him in the gut, and follows up with a kneelift, knocking Angel to the ground. With the ringside fans screaming abuse at him, Chaos wipes the sweat off his forehead and flicks it at them. He then picks Angel up, and rolls him into the ring. Chaos then hops onto the ring apron, and starts to mount the turnbuckles from the outside. However, he wastes too much time, and Angel is able to spring to his feet, and meet Chaos at the cornerpost. He grabs Chaos, one hand around his crotch, one hand around his throat, and throws him over his head to the mat. Chaos lands hard on his back. Chaos gets to his feet, Angel levels him with a hard right hand. Chaos gets to his feet again, to be met with another hard right hand. Chaos isn't as fast to get to his feet this time, and Angel signals for The Darkness, to a huge pop. However, Chaos realises this, and slides backwards out of the ring. The fans boo as Chaos makes a 'I've had enough of this' gesture with his hands, and starts to walk up the aisle, shaking his head. Angel slides out of the ring, and runs to catch up with Chaos. He is just about to grab Chaos by the shoulder, when Chaos, from out of nowhere, almost knocks Angel's head off with a superkick!

SC: Ooh..... Angel suckered in...

PEZ: SUCKAHHHHHH!!!!

SC: Not on this programme, Pez... not on this programme....

Angel hits the steel ramp hard. Chaos continues with kicks and stomps to the prone Angel, then lifts him up, and snap suplexes him to the hard steel. Angel winces as his back makes contact with the floor. Chaos picks him up again, takes him down to ringside, and rolls him into the ring. He then climbs into the ring himself, and makes the cover....1...2.. Angel raises a shoulder! The fans breathe a sigh of relief. Chaos slaps the mat in frustration, then puts Angel in a reverse chin lock. He digs his knee into the back of Angel's neck for added torque. Angel's arms flail about in pain. Chaos switches to a sleeper hold, and Angel begins to slump to the floor. Angel's eyes begin to flutter shut. The ref holds Angel's arm up... it drops to the mat. He holds it up a second time... it drops to the mat. The crowd grow uneasy, as the ref holds Angel's arm up a third time, then lets go..... it stays up. Chaos looks on in disbelief, as Angel starts to shake his fist in defiance. He pulls himself up to a standing position, still with Chaos attached to him like a limpet. Angel elbows Chaos in the gut, then whips him to the rope. As Chaos comes back, Angel goes for a clothesline, but Chaos ducks, goes behind Angel, and hooks in the sleeper again. Angel starts to waver again, but suddenly drops to his knees, hitting Chaos with a tooth loosening jawbreaker! Chaos staggers backwards into the corner. Angle takes a run up for a shoulder charge into the corner, but at the last second, Chaos pulls the ref in front of him! The ref takes the brunt of Angel's shoulderblock, and hits the mat. Angel goes over to the ref to try and revive him, but Chaos comes up behind him and low blows him! Angel collapses, and Chaos goes over to the ringpost, and starts to remove the protective pad from the top turnbuckle!

PEZ: I didn't know you could do that!

SC: You can't! It's illegal!

PEZ: Quick! Somebody alert the police!

Chaos turns around... straight into some vicious chops from Angel! He then whips Chaos into the other corner, which he hits front first. He staggers backwards out of the corner, and Angel catches him in a deadly side suplex. Chaos rises, dazed, to one knee. Angel is shouting at him and beckoning him to get up, as the crowd roar their approval. Chaos finally rises, Angel hooks his neck, and hits The Darkness! Chaos goes down, Angel makes the cover.... there's no ref to make the count! He could've got a ten count! Angel rises, and again tries to stir the ref, to little success. He turns back to Chaos, who, with his last effort, punches Angel in the stomach, then hits Complete Chaos! Angel is out, but Chaos is too dazed from Angel's finisher to make the cover! Suddenly, the crowd turns it's attention to the top of the ramp, where a familiar figure has just emerged from the curtains....

SC: Ian Monks! Looks like the TFWF boss has come out here to protect his prize asset, Fallen Angel!

PEZ: Or at least wake that lazybones referee up!

Ian Monks begins to walk down the ramp, with a determined look on his face, to a mixed crowd reaction. The mixed reaction turns all out to boos, however, as Hardcore Legend emerges, and stalks Monks down the aisle with a steel chair! He smashes it over the TFWF owner's head, and Monks goes out like a light. Legend throws the chair to the floor, and trash talks the fallen Monks. However, the arena then erupts in cheers, as TFWF champion Chad storms out from the back, runs down the aisle, and lays into Legend! He fires off a volley of punches and chops, forcing Legend back up the aisle to the top of the ramp. At the top, Chad signals for the Chadbuster, when.... King Kole emerges, and slams a forearm into his back! The crowd boo like crazy again. Kole spins Chad around, and goes for a punch, but Chad blocks it, and starts peppering Kole with blows of his own. Legend tries to sneak up behind Chad, but he turns around and dishes some out to Legend. However, the numbers game soon becomes to much for Chad, and Kole subdues him from behind. The two DWIWFers start to double team Chad, until.... the place erupts again, as Pimp In rushes out! He pulls Kole off Chad and starts to lay in punches of his own to the King. Pimp In forces Kole closer and closer to the edge of the stage. Finally, he winds his right arm up for one last big haymaker to send Kole tumbling off the stage.... and taps him with his left fist while Kole is watching the right wind up! Kole goes crashing down to the floor below. Meanwhile, Legend is attempting to do the same to Chad. He goes for one big clothesline to finish it, but Chad ducks, and nails Legend with a superkick, sending Legend crashing to the floor 15 feet below!

SC: Omigod! Pimp In and Chad have sent the DWIWF top brass plummeting to their doom!

PEZ: But what happens now?

What happens is, Chad and Pimp In notice each other stood alone, and, with the crowd going absolutely mental, begin to approach each other. Finally, they get so close, they actually stand nose-to-nose, just staring at each other. No-one is raising a fist, but there are definite power games going on, as they butt heads. The audience are on tenterhooks, waiting for the first icon to make a move. However , to everyone's disappointment, a swarm of officials pour out from the curtain, and interject themselves between the two superstars. Not taking their eyes off each other, Pimp In and Chad are led backstage, as the crowd boo.

SC: The two biggest fan favourites in the TFWF have just had a VERY close encounter!

PEZ: I don't know about you, but I've wet myself!

SC: Very funny, Pez..... Oh, you really have....

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Chaos has recovered, and has pulled Angel to his feet. He is raining punches, kicks and chops down on Angel. He takes a run up, and nails Angel with a runnning clothesline. However, it doesn't take Angel off his feet. Chaos steps back, measures Angel up, and goes for one more big running clothesline. However, Angel dodges to the side at the last moment, and propels Chaos head first into the exposed turnbuckle steel! Chaos bounces nastily off the steel, straight back into the path of Angel, who nails his second Darkness of the match!

Angel makes the cover, the ref crawls weakly over to make the count....1...2....3!

Winner, via pinfall: Fallen Angel

SC: What a hard fought victory by Fallen Angel!

PEZ: Yes, but, in the end, Chris Chaos planted the seeds of his own demise!

SC: Very profound, Pez...

PEZ: Why, thank you, Geraldine....

Angel gets up, celebrates with the crowd briefly, then leaves the ring to attend to Ian Monks halfway up the ramp.

(ACTION GOES BACK TO GILES CHADWORTH WITH SNIFF.)

SNIFF: We just saw Chad and Pimp In going nose to nose!

GC: Well that should answer the question Sniff, we accept, Pimp In and Chad and the winner of this match will compete at Night of the Revolution 3 for the Undisputed Title…

SNIFF: But you said that wasn’t enough?

GC: Guaranteed spots for Tiger Young, Twist and Grunt if he returns from injury in the KOTD Matches 3 tournament…that will do nicely!

(BACK AT RINGSIDE.)

SC: Monks has cut a further deal, the first three names in the King of the Deathmatch Tournament have been announced! Who will be the other five, at this stage we don’t know!

PEZ: Tiger Young won it last year…

SC: Pez will you shut up…hey you made a good point there.

PEZ: I know, I know it’s scary ain’t it!

SC: Very…

(RINGSIDE.)

JH: This match is scheduled for one fall and is for the number one contendership for the T.F.W.F. Undisputed Championship!

King Kole vs Hardcore Legend

*’KING OF THE WORLD’ – ELVIS PLAYS*

(MASSIVE BOOS.)

JH: Introducing first from Savannah, Georgia…weighing 290 pounds…Mr. PPV Buyrate…King Kole!!!

(KING KOLE WALKS OUT TO THE SOUNDS OF ELVIS COCKING HIS HEAD BACK AND FORTH IN MOCKING FASHION. HE GIVES THE FANS THE THUMBS DOWN BEFORE JAUNTING TO THE RING OCCASSIONALLY STOPPING AND STEPPING BACK AND FORTH TO THE MUSIC.)

SC: King Kole here in one big opportunity for him.

PEZ: Yeah King!

*’SYMPHONY OF DESTRUCTION’ - MEGADEATH PLAYS*

(HARDCORE LEGEND EMERGES FROM THE CURTAINS, AND THE FANS ERRUPT IN BOOS. HARDCORE LEGEND WALKS READY TO FIGHT DOWN THE AISLEWAY. HE GETS TO THE RING, AND JUMPS ONTO THE APRON, AND THEN HE STEPS BETWEEN THE TOP, AND SECOND ROPES INTO THE RING. HE TAUNTS THE AUDIENCE AND SIGNALS TO HIS BODY GUARD NALDO.)

JH: And his opponent from Atlanta, Georgia…weighing 230 pounds…accompanied by his bodyguard Naldo…The Bastard…Hardcore Legend!!!

SC: What factor will Naldo play in this one?

PEZ: I believe he wears factor 18…

SC: Dumbass…

Naldo stands looking focused on the outside as Legend and Kole circle each other.  They lock up in the middle of the ring and Legend goes behind and takes Kole down to the mat, he hangs on into a front face lock, but Kole is able to roll free and grabs Legend’s right arm.  He stands up with Legend locked in a hammer lock, he tries to fight free and reaches over his shoulder to grabs Kole but he can’t reach.  Legend drops forward and is able to flip Kole over his shoulder releasing the hold.  Legend is up and goes for a clothesline but Kole ducks it, Kole swings a back elbow but Legend goes behind again and chop blocks Kole’s left leg!  Kole crumples to the mat as Legend begins to stomp down on his left leg, body and head.

SC:  And there was me thinking we were going to see some technical wrestling and Legend has to start putting the boots in.

PEZ:  In where?  Not in the cupboard because he needs to wear them for the match.

SC:  I hate you, I hate you, I hate you.

Legend lifts Kole up and whips him off the ropes and hits a shoulder block that flattens Kole.  Legend uses the ropes for momentum and plants an elbow in Kole’s heart before going for a cover. 1.…2…., Kole kicks out with some force and gets to his feet.  Legend throws a right hand that Kole blocks and he fires back with a few right hands of his own.  He rocks Legend back against the ropes and then tees off with some stinging chops to the chest of Legend.  Kole hits stiff looking forearm to the side of Legend’s head before whipping him towards the ropes, Legend comes back and is hit with a clothesline that sends him through the second rope and to the outside!  Legend lands on the mats on the outside and is pissed off as Kole talks trash to him from the ring.

Naldo comes around the ring and helps Legend to his feet before whispering some strategy to Legend.  He nods his head and slides under the bottom rope, Kole is on him in an instant and stomps down on Legend before hitting a leg drop across his back.  Kole lifts Legend up and goes to whip him towards the ropes but Legend reverses it and Kole is sent towards the ropes.  Naldo jumps onto the apron and heaves the top rope down and Kole is sent tumbling out the ring to the floor.  Legend distracts the referee as Naldo puts in some stiff kicks to the chest and face of Kole.  He lifts him to his feet and whips him into the steel barricade.  Kole smashes into the metal with his lower back, he staggers off the barricade and Naldo turns him inside out with a massive clothesline.  Legend sees Naldo has got the advantage and jumps out the ring and tells Naldo he has it under control.

SC:  Will you look at this, Naldo beat Kole stupid on the outside and now Legend is taking all the credit for it.

PEZ:  Well, he is the boss.

SC:  True Pez, damn that’s two true things you have said in the one night.

PEZ:  Tell me about it (pause). No really cause I can’t remember the first one.

SC:  Just watch the match, I knew it was too good to be true!

Legend stomps down on Kole and then picks him up before slamming his head off the steel barricade.  Legend heaves Kole up in the air and drops him chest first over the barricade.  The referee’s count is at 7 as Legend rolls Kole into the ring.  He chokes Kole with his foot and talks trash to him as the fans boo like crazy.  The referee breaks the illegal move and Legend lifts Kole to his feet and scores with a nice snap suplex.  He lifts Kole up and slams him down to the mat before going to the corner.  Legend runs out of the corner and then drops a knee right across Kole’s throat.  Kole rolls around the ring in pain as Legend struts around the ring and gives Naldo a thumbs up.  He is back on Kole with some kicks to the head before lifting him off the mat and whipping him into the turnbuckles.  He charges but Kole gets both feet up in the face of Legend to a small pop from the crowd.  Legend stumbles backwards as Kole tries to shake out the cobwebs.  He comes out of the corner and rocks Legend with hard right hands, he goes for a clothesline but Legend ducks and hits a hangman’s neckbreaker on Kole.  Legend is on the offensive again and kicks Kole in the back of the neck before dragging him to the ropes and draping his neck across the bottom rope.  He hits a leg drop across the back of Kole’s head which also chokes him on the bottom rope.  Legend stands on Kole’s neck and chokes him using the middle rope for leverage.  The choke is broken by the referee as Legend talks more trash to Kole.  He chokes him more on the bottom rope before dropping an elbow across the back of Kole’s head.  Legend turns Kole over so the back of his neck is on the bottom rope.  Legend goes to the corner and then climbs to the top turnbuckle.  The crowd are booing like crazy as Legend jumps from the top and hits a leg drop on Kole, his head snaps back as his neck bends backwards over the bottom rope!!!

SC:  That move could have broken Kole’s neck, Legend really pulling out all the stops tonight, he really wants that rematch with Chad.

Legend lands on the ring apron and then climbs back in the ring as Kole writhes around the mat in agony.  He is grabbing the back of his neck and head and Legend stamps on his back and then lifts him off the mat.  Kole is dazed and in a lot of pain and Legend hooks him up in to a nice spinning neckbreaker.  Naldo applauds at ringside as Legend goes for the cover, 1.…2….somehow Kole just gets his shoulder off the mat before the 3 count.

SC:  Legend really working over Kole’s neck in this match, you just know he is softening him up for the Ultima Manus.

Legend is getting cocky now and lifts Kole off the mat, he hits a few European uppercuts that snap Kole’s head backwards with some force.  He scores with a nice gut wrench suplex and then hooks Kole up in a cross face chicken wing.  Legend hooks his legs around Kole in a body scissors as he increases the pressure on Kole’s neck and shoulder.  Kole is in a lot of trouble as Legend uses an old school wrestling move on him.  Kole is able to inch slowly towards the ropes, his one free arm outstretched, desperately reaching for the ropes.  He is inches from the ropes when Legend releases the hold and drops three elbows in a row on the back of Kole’s head and neck!  He heaves Kole to his feet and slaps him hard in the face to an ‘ohh’ from the crowd.  Suddenly Kole seems to snap into life, he looks straight at Legend who is stunned, he throws a right hand that seems to have no effect on Kole.  The crowd are actually getting behind Kole as he gets a second wind.  Legend goes for another punch but Kole blocks it and fires back with right hands, he knocks Legend to the mat, Legend jumps up but is flattened with another big right hand.  He jumps up and this time Kole hits a boot in the mid section and then a swinging neckbreaker of his own.

SC:  A rush of adrenaline for King Kole here, for once the fans are actually cheering him, although if you don’t get cheered when in the same ring as Hardcore Legend, you would have to be Saddam Hussain or something.

PEZ:  Didn’t he used to own the TFWF?

SC:  No you idiot, he is the leader of Iraq, the guy we might be going to war with.  Don’t you ever watch the news?

PEZ:  Is that the show with the people at the desk and the weather and stuff?

SC:  Yes.

PEZ:  Nah, I hate that show, the Duke’s of Hazard, now that is a quality TV show.

SC:  …….

Kole is firing up and he grabs Legend and lifts him up by the hair, Kole whips Legend off the ropes and plants him with a nice spinebuster.  Kole is up and he lifts Legend over his shoulder and charges into the corner, he rams Legend’s back into the turnbuckles before hooking him up in the tree of woe.  Legend is dazed as Kole stomps away on him.  Legend hangs upside down in the corner as Kole goes to the opposite corner, he holds the back of his head and neck and he does.  The crowd are now getting more behind Kole as he charges and plants both feet in the face of Legend.  Legend is out in the corner and Kole stands on the second rope and then plants his foot in Legend’s groin, he push down with all his weight as Legend is still trapped upside down in the corner.  The boot in his nuts brings him back to life and Legend yells in pain and Kole bounces on the ropes!!  Kole jumps down and unhooks Legend from the ropes.  He drags Legend out the corner and hits a suplex, Kole hangs on and lifts Legend up again and hits another suplex, he lifts Legend up for a third time and then drops him forward onto the mat from the suplex position.  Kole goes for the cover, 1….2…., Legend kicks out to and Naldo slams the mat to encourage him.

Kole is fired up and he returns the choke on Legend, Naldo gets up on the ring apron and complains to the referee.  Naldo has the referee by the collar as Kole turns away from Legend and goes over to Naldo.  He grabs Naldo by the collar as the referee stumbles away into the corner.  Kole then swings a right hand but Naldo ducks and drops off the apron.  Kole turns around only to be hit in the face with some powder by Legend!!!  The referee is still in the corner after being grabbed by Naldo and doesn’t see it.  Kole is blinded and staggers around the ring trying to get the white powder out of his eyes, Legend gets a breather and then gets behind Kole, he hooks him and hits a German suplex.  Legend holds on and hits another German suplex, he keeps his hands locked and scores with another German suplex, he hits a fourth and then a fifth as Kole is out on his feet.  Legend uses all the power he can muster and heaves Kole up and then flips him over in mid air!  Kole lands face first on the mat as the crowd boo and some cheer the amazing display by Legend.  He hooks the leg and makes the cover 1….2….at the last possible second King Kole kicks out to a big and surprised pop from the crowd.

SC:  Good God.  I mean I have said some things about him in the past but what a kick out by King Kole, showing real heart and fighting spirit.

Legend can’t believe it, he slams his fists on the mat in frustration and then signals to Naldo to get a chair.  Legend heaves Kole to his feet and whips him off the ropes, Kole is still blinded by the powder and is sent crashing to the mat with a Samoan drop.  Legend makes the cover again 1….2.… again Kole kicks out!!  Legend is furious and rolls to the outside and grabs the chair from Naldo, Legend points at the referee who is checking on Kole in the ring.  Naldo nods his head and goes around the other side of the ring.  He hops up on the ring apron and shouts at the referee who comes over and Naldo begins to complain about something.  With the referee distracted Legend rolls back in the ring, chair in hand.  He swings at Kole who is just getting to his feet but Kole is able to move, Legend spins around and Kole hits a boot to the midsection and then scores with the Abdicator to a big pop!!  Legend is down and out as Kole drops over him exhausted to make the cover, but Naldo is still distracting the referee.  Kole can’t believe it and gets to his feet, still favouring his neck and trying desperately to get the powder out of his eyes.  Kole grabs the chair from the mat and walks over towards the referee and Naldo.  He shoves the referee out of the way and brings the chair crashing down onto Naldo’s head.  The DWIWF enforcer flies off the ring apron and onto the steel barricade.   The referee is again dazed in the corner, Kole turns around and Legend lands a drop kick on the steel chair that springs back into Kole’s face!!  Kole staggers backwards against the ropes and Legend clotheslines him and both men go over the top rope to the outside.

SC:  This match is two on one, every time Kole gets the advantage Naldo gets involved in the match.  I never thought I would see the day when King Kole is out smarted during a match, but I think Legend and Naldo have got his number.

Legend tees off with some punches on the outside.  He hits a knee into Kole’s midsection and then whips him towards the steel ring steps but Kole reverses it and Legend crashes into the steps shoulder first!  Kole goes over to him but Naldo is there with a right hand to Kole!  Kole and Naldo begin exchanging punches on the outside and the referee jumps down from the ring to try and break it up.  Kole swings a right hand but Naldo moves and the referee is cracked right on the jaw by King Kole!!  Kole is distracted for an instant and Naldo kicks him low and then powerbombs him hard on the outside to a huge gasp from the crowd!!!

SC:  Oh no, a powerbomb on the outside, that could have broken his damn neck, never mind the beating he has taken during this match!!  Someone needs to step in here, someone needs to stop this!!

The crowd are all over Naldo and Legend as the put the boots in to Kole, who is out on the floor.  Naldo lifts Kole into the ring as Legend goes to the top rope.  Kole is out in the middle of the ring as Legend leaps and hits a nice elbow drop to the chest.  Naldo races around the ring and grabs a bottle of water, he throws it in the face of the referee bringing him around.  Naldo rolls the referee into the ring as Legend grabs Kole and hits a huge Ultima Manus!!!  The crowd are booing like crazy as Legend makes the cover, 1….2…..3!!!!  The crowd erupt in boos as Legend gets the pin.  Naldo gets in the ring and lifts Legend to his feet and holds his arm up as the fans hurl cups and other garbage in the ring.
