Thursday Night
Torcher began with the 4 Corners music hitting the speakers. Hawk, Invader,
Young and Da Gremlin walked out carrying their gold over their shoulders. Hawk
grabbed hold of a mic and informed the crowd that,
"Tonight the Firm-Court will show you that the power is still in our hands. Tonight Huggsy Bear will be given a New Year beating by our man and the man who brings you so much fun to this federation, the one, the only, THE MANAGEMENT!" The owner of the T.F.W.F walked out on to the stage and joined his group of champions. The crowd starting getting restless as the five most hated men in the T.F.W.F stood and gloated to the fans and the other superstars in the back. Management took the mic from Hawk and laid down the law to Huggsy Bear, "You call yourself the CEO of this federation and think you have power over my Four Corners? We will see where the power lies tonight! This will be just another day of Firm-Court domination and just another day at the office for the most powerful man in wrestling, The Management!" The crowds boos and jeers shook the arena as the five men walked off stage and the first match of Thursday Torcher got underway.
Light-Heavyweight Title Match- Ray Rush vs Enigma The 'Golden Child' walked out on to center stage once again and the crowd went nuts for the Light Heavyweight Champion. Enigma's music hit the speakers as Rush made his way into the ring. There was no sign of Enigma and the referee started his count! The crowd started booing as the match looked to be heading for Rush's easiest win in years, however this was not to be, the rafters shook and Rush braced himself for the arrival of Enigma but yet again the 'mysterious one' did not arrive. The crowd started to cheer as Enigma appeared on top of the TAT. Oblivious to Rush who was looking up at the rafters, Enigma began his descent to the ring via a zip line! The crowd went crazy as the former European Champion headed straight for Rush. At the last second Rush turned to see Enigma coming in at high speed, he grabbed Rush in a hurricana and at the same time unclipped his harness and sent Rush crashing into the mat. The title match was on. Rush stood up and looked dazed, but not for long, Enigma charged at Rush but was floored with a drop toe hold, Rush then started work on the legs of Enigma, trying to stop his speed. Numerous ankle locks, and submission holds had Enigma in trouble. Then some how managed to grab hold of Rush and hit a small package for the first chance of a pin, the 'Golden Child' kicked out and backed off enigma, wrong move. Enigma drop kicked Rush into the turn buckle, he then jumped up on to the shoulders of Rush and hit a monkey flip. Enigma the mounted the Top turn buckle and landed a 5 Star Frog Splash, Rush kicked out after a close count and began showing why he is the Champ. He threw Enigma out onto the crash mats, standing on the side of the ring Rush did the unbelievable and risked his own body by back flipping off the second rope and landed another splash, Rush stood up and was now really on fire, he picked Enigma up and ran him into the stairs, the crowd were electric as Rush pulled back the crash mats to reveal the cold hard concrete, placing Enigma ready for a power bomb the crowd gasped as Enigma some how managed to brake the hold and knocked Rush down with a back spinning heel kick. The ref's count was at eight as Enigma rolled Rush back into the ring, Enigma began the onslaught of technical moves, first a suplex then a neckbreaker he placed Rush on the top turn buckle and began his climb, Rush countered with a jab to the stomach which made Enigma lose his balance, Rush stood up and landed a perfect turn around moonsault. This was truly a classic, both men were giving there all as the crowd showed their appreciation to these two young superstars. The turning point in the match was a mistake by the referee! Rush stood in front of the official as Enigma went for a super kick Rush moved and the ref was out for the count, a later x-ray revealed that a fractured jaw and a few broken teeth were a result of Enigmas strength, Rush hesitated as he looked down at the official he turned back to be met with the 'Puzzler', Enigma had the win but there was no ref! At that moment Ozaki interfered and smashed a chair across Enigmas head, he then hit the Mazurka stunner, Ozaki looked at Rush who was now standing up in the corner, Rush made a charge for Ozaki nearly taking his head off with a clothsline, Ozaki rolled out the ring and headed back stage were he was met by Glen Stag, the fight continued out into the locker room, as the camera came back to the match Enigma was now standing and ready to do battle once again, a replacement referee came to ringside, Enigma bounced off the ropes and went for a spinning DDT on Rush who countered with the Head Rush! Enigma was out, the ref made the count 1,2, the closest pin in T.F.W.F history! Rush couldn't believe it, he quickly made his way to the top rope and hit a headbutt. This time Enigma couldn't kick out, Rush had retained his gold but had learnt a lesson, the Light Heavy Weight division was now at it's best and Enigma was better than ever. Winner by pinfall and still Light-Heavyweight Champion: Ray Rush. Insane Asylum vs Compton Crew vs Kamikaze Klan vs A.O.D. (number one contenders for tag titles) The Insane Asylum entered the arena to a huge pop from the crowd, the former Tag Champions made there way to the ring, following closely behind them were the Compton Crew then the Kamikaze Klan. The AOD have been out of action for the last few weeks due to the near brake up of Hell Bound but they showed that the storm was over, it was back to business. Carnage grabbed hold of a mic. 'No Holds Barred!' The crowd erupted as the tag teams looked at each other and then all hell broke lose. The ref tried to stop the use of weapons but realized that it was useless. The Insane Asylum paired off with the Kamikaze Klan and the AOD went for the Compton Crew. Apocalypse and Creeper began beating the hell out of the Klan, it looked like a wipe out and the Klan were in trouble, chair shot after chair shot after chair shot echoed through the arena. The crowd gaspsed as Apocalypse broke three chairs over the Kamikaze Klan, across the ring the AOD were having a tougher time against the Crew. Punk Ass placed a table out across the floor and went for a pile driver on Vagan, PunkAss tried desperately to lift the 7 foot monster but realized that it was no good, Vagan stood up and back dropped Punk Ass off the table and onto the floor. Carnage then picked up the remaining member of the Crew and signaled to Vagan for the Blackout. This left The AOD with the Insane Asylum, both teams were after each other and they left the Crew and the Klan on a heap on the floor. Carnage went for Creeper and Vagan went for Apocalypse, the two tag teams were putting on a show, Carngae hit a Spine Buster and then a big leg drop, stunning Creeper. Vagan was hit with a lead pipe, knocking him out cold and busting him open, Carnage then hit Apocalypse from behind with a bulldog, Apocalypse was hurt. Out side the ring the Crew were just getting up, they saw the match and decided to join back in. Carnage turned around and was hit straight in the face with a chair, Punk Ass went for the first pin but Vagan managed to interrupt the count. Apocalypse was back on his feet and pissed, he climbed the turn buckle and missile drop kicked Vagan out of the ring, Carnage turned and was met with the 'fall of man' from Apocalypse! With Vagan and the Crew out of the ring Apocalypse went for the pin, but amazingly the Klan were back, they had had their rest and were ready for more. It was now The Kamikaze Klan that started to put on a show, but there technical moves were soon met with hard power moves from the recovering AOD. Carnage and Vagan set up two tables and poured petrol over the top, the flames leapt around as Creeper was set up for a power bomb through the burning tables. Vagan went to the turnbuckle and Carnage lifted Creeper up onto Vagans shoulders ready for a power bomb from hell. Then from out of nowhere came Apocalypse, he took out Carnage, the Klan and Crew were half way up the ramp as the Tag teams fought for the No1 contendership. As Vagan went for the power bomb through the burning table, a single moment of absolute brilliance from Creeper stunned not only this reporter but the thousands of fans watching, as Vagan lifted him up and stood on the tope rope Creeper managed to hit a hurricanna on the huge 7 foot monster and send him onto the burning tables! Apocalypse then hit another 'Fall of man' onto Carnage and the match was over, the Insane Asylum beat all the odds and were the new no1 contenders. Winners and number one contenders: Insane Asylum Glen Stag vs Ozaki The cameras returned to the ring were Glen Stag was making his arrival. Glen Stag was focused and ready for the Japanese danger man. Ozaki's music hit and the crowd erupted, the new lean mean Ozaki looked in great condition, he carried a golden chair in his hands which he placed out side the ring, the match began. Another Light Heavy Weight match and if was to be anything like the last match up we were in for a treat, sadly though both wrestlers seemed to be too focused and neither wanted to give away anything, that was until Glen Stag made the first mistake allowing Ozaki to do what he does best. Ozaki hit a stalling suplex before turning it into a perfect jack hammer. Stag felt the impact but is not one to be finished off easily. The match began to quicken but Ozaki still had control that was until Glen Stag bounced off the ropes and speared Ozaki out the ring! The match went to the outside were the two wrestlers were now on top of Scoop and Snoops announce table. Glen Stag hit lefts and rights, Ozaki was busted open and the blood covered Glens hands, Ozaki took a wild swing but was kicked in the stomach and hit with the 'Last Order.' The crowd went silent as Ozaki's head went through the table, the crowd knew the match was over , but then to Glen Stags dismay he realized that the pin had to be made in the ring, this was not a Hardcore match. This gave Ozaki time to get his head together and as he was rolled in the ring Glen knew that he would have to do more. Glen went for another 'Last Order' but was met with a huge clothesline from Ozaki. Both men were down and hurt, the ref started to count, Ozaki managed to pull himself up and lay an arm across Glens chest, a close two count but the match went on. The match continued and again neither man could get the upper hand that was until Glen hit Ozaki with a perfectly timed tilt a whirl slam. The ref again went for the count but Ozaki got his foot on the rope, Glen lost it and shoved the ref over, he stood over the official and shouted abuse to the man, the crowd began to rise to their feet as Ozaki climbed out the ring and picked up the golden chair. He slid into the ring and smashed Glen over the head with it knocking him out. Ozaki placed the chair in the corner of the ring, flat out, and placed the groggy Glen Stag on the top turnbuckle, Ozaki then climbed up and looked like he was going for a superplex but changed his mind and with great balance hit a pile driver off the top rope onto the chair. The crowd cheered as Ozaki made the pin and the referee made the three count. As Ozaki left the ring Glen came around and was furious, he turned to the official and landed a 'Last Order' on the ref to a slight cheer from the crowd. In an interview later on during Thursday Torcher Glen claimed to have a bad hangover from a long drunken new year. Hhowever as Stag spoke out of nowhere came Enigma he smashed the camera in Stag's face, this prompted Ray Rush and Ozaki to run out as well a second hand held camera filmed the action of the four men brawling backstage, then unfamiliar to everyone the Westsider's appeared with their girlfriends in tow they looked at the four Light-Heavyweights brawling, Too Tall pulled the hand held camera off and filmed the other two members of Westside smashing the four Light-Heavyweights into anything the could. A mark had been made by Westside as the four lay down and out. Winner by pinfall: Ozaki Warfare/TC Dakota Jones/I.L.M. vs American Redneck/Black Thunder/Car Thief As the six men entered the ring the tension was building. The members of the Run In Unit were looking pleased with themselves as they had been interfering in many matches. Warfare seemed less pleased and made a massive running clothesline at American Redneck. The other four men went to the corners as the match began. Warfare took early control and absolutely dominated Redneck, this seemed to be an exhibition as American Redneck was not even putting up a fight, that was untill apparently Warfare called the Redneck a pig f***er! This angered American Redneck as he started to put the boot into Warfare, Redneck later claimed that he doesn't like it when his loved ones are brought into the matches! Warfare made a tag to TC Dakota Jones and Redneck was again in trouble, he needed a tag badly and it came when TC bounced American Redneck off the ropes and the experience of Car Theif showed as he made a blind tag. As TC came back off the ropes he was met with a double back drop which turned the tables again. Car Thief then made another quick tag to Black Thunder, he also showed his experience by keeping TC in the corner, a few more quick tags and the match was looking to be very one sided that was until I.L.M managed to sneak around to the other side of the ring and attack American Redneck. The referee didn't see it and TC managed to get back and make a tag to Warfare who came into the match for the second time. Warfare hit 'Looking For Forgiveness' on Black Thunder, Car Thief was now fighting with I.L.M on the outside which meant Warfare could make the pin, however the music of the Run-In Unit hit the speakers, Jimmy Simpson emerged with the rest of the Unit who charged ringside and viciously attacked Warfare and the Young Guns, the ref called for a DQ, but Simpson looked like his Unit had the win. Winners by DQ: Warfare/Dakota Jones/Italian Love Machine Damned Yankee/Tremere/Phenom def The Westsiders This was probably the most single strange event of the year. A contract match between a new group, The Westsiders and three of the most talented wrestlers in the T.F.W.F. The match was ready to kick off, but the Westsiders did not appear. A camera went backstage to see every member of Hell Bound, Naldo's Warriors and Mount Olympus attacking the Westsiders! They managed to make it to the ring where they were met by some crazed fans! One man who was later arrested claimed that The Westsiders should be thrown out of the T.F.W.F and never be aloud to set foot in any arena again! The Westsiders then managed to get to the ring where they were met by The Yankee, Tremere and Phenom! As they battled it out in a Tornado elimination match, it seemed that the Westsiders could take care of themselves. Dir-T-Dogg was against Tremere, Too Tall Townsend was against Phenom and the Yankee was left entertaining Smoke-Dogg. Tremere had had enough and threw Dir-T-Dogg out of the ring he saw Phenom holding Too Tall and went for the assist. The superkick missed by a long shot and hit Phenom square in the throat! Too Tall turned around and threw Tremere out of the ring and got the pin on Phenom! It was now 2 vs 3. Tremere was being double teamed by Dir-T-Dogg and Too Tall and Yankee was taking care of Smoke-Dogg. The match was going backwards and forwards untill Yankee hit The Damned Slam on Smoke-Dogg. He easily got the three and it was now even. As Tremere was lining up Too Tall for a spear Phenom had recovered and reached in and pulled out Tremere. He shoved the Hardcore man to the floor and started firing in rights! The respect that they had was now anger, the two men started fighting up the ramp and backstage. Yankee was now left with Dir-T-Dogg and Too Tall. Seeing as he was out numbered Yankee decided to step back. Then he leant on the ropes! He waved both of the Westsiders to 'Come get some.' Too Tall ran at Yankee who ducked and backdroped him over the ropes, he then looked at Dir-T-Dogg and also waved him on. The Dogg ran at Yankee, and also ran straight into a Damned Slam! Both Doggs eliminated! It was now the Yankee verses Too Tall! Yankee placed his foot on the bottom rope and pulled the second rope up asking Too Tall to enter but he declined. The Yankee then stepped out the ring and grabbed Too Tall and threw him in much to the delight of the crowd. Then the 4 Corners music hit. The crowd let out a sigh as they knew they weren't comming to help Yankee. Hawk carried a chair, Invader a Baseball bat, Da Gremlin a roll of barbed wire and Young carried a ladder! The 4 corners walked to the ring, Hawk grabbed a mic. 'Merry Christmas Yankee.' Yankee braced himself for the fight but Hawk slid the weapons under the ropes. Yankee caught on and realized that absolutely no one in the T.F.W.F wanted the Westsiders to get a contract! Yankee hit Too Tall with The Damned Slam onto the Barbed wire to a huge applause from the Firm-Court, Hell Bound, Naldo's Warriors and the Love Shack! Yankee made the pin and got the victory for the T.F.W.F! Everyone was celebrating in the ring after the match as the Westsiders cursed their way backstage. Pphenom reemerged with Tremere to congratulate Yankee on a job well done as they walked down the aisle, Phenom picked up Young's ladder and nailed Tremere with it! He pinned Tremere and won the Hardcore title! Winner by pin fall: Yankee Pinning Tremere and New Hardcore Champion: Phenom Huggsy Bear vs Management ( steel cage match) The main event for Thursday Night Torcher began with the lowering of the cage. Huggsy Bear came out and looked nervous, he knew that The Management had a plan. As Huggsy was half way down the ramp the Management ran down and smashed a chair across Huggsys Back. He picked Huggsy up and threw him into the ring. This wasn't a match it was a lesson. The Management rammed Huggsys head off the cage, he then opened the door and place Huggsys body in the door and slammed it shut the crowd booed as this wasn't a wrestling match it was a mugging. Huggsy was being beaten badly, he tried to fight back but the Management had won the match with that chair shot. The match continued and Huggsy could barely walk let alone stand. Then Hawk and Invader walked down to ringside. Hawk carried a bag of thumb tacks and some rope Invader carried the flaming bat. The crowd knew what was coming. Hawk and Invader entered the cage, hawk poured out the thumb tacks onto the floor and picked up Huggsy. He nailed a Pile Driver followed by a body slam onto the tacks. Huggsy was out of it, Invader then grabbed Huggsy and hit the 'Mat Invasion' onto the tacks, this was sick. As Hawk climbed the turnbuckle Huggsy spat up some blood, severe internal bleeding was the diagnosis. Hawk landed the 'Bird Of Prey Splash.' The Management then tied Huggsy to the side of the cage and began beating him with the flaming bat. A large majority of the crowd had left due to the beating. The Management walked out of the cage and grabbed the mic. Winner after exiting the cage: Management 'Huggsy, the power is mine! How many times do I have to tell you people that the Firm-Court is not going to be defeated by anyone. Show them the footage!' The camera went to the TAT where a battle was going on, Yankee, Pimp In, Angel and Naldo were all being held back by the remaining members of the Firm-Court. 'No more Mr. Nice guy! The CEO position is now over! I have full power and the 4 Corners are the revolution! Thursday night Torcher ended with Huggsy bear being taken away to hospital, the Management and the 4 corners have made their mark. Saturday Night Slam would either be the end of the T.F.W.F or the turning point.
